Dish scrub brush vs bottle brush—do I need both?
I use a lot of water bottles, travel mugs, and narrow jars. Can a regular dish scrub brush handle those too, or do I really need a separate skinny bottle brush?

A standard dish scrub brush can work for wider bottles and mugs, but narrow necks are tough without a slimmer head. I’ve tried using one brush for everything and it usually falls short inside tight spaces. For general dishes I stick with a broader one, and keep a long skinny brush for bottles. This dish scrub brush is my main one for plates, pots, and larger cups—it scrubs efficiently and the bristles don’t flatten out fast. It’s not ideal for tiny openings, but for most kitchen items it does great. If you only have a couple bottles, you might get away with just this and a cheap pipe cleaner for the really narrow ones.
