Quick UAT Plan template for 2026?

Need a short & solid UAT plan for our SaaS release. Basics: scope, key journeys, acceptance criteria, 8–10 real users, staging env, 1-week schedule, defect log + sign-off. What do you always add to keep it tight?

Here’s what I always add to keep a UAT plan tight and effective: first, include clear risk areas — what parts of the product have broken most often in the past and deserve extra scrutiny. Second, define entry and exit criteria so everyone knows when UAT really starts and ends. Third, assign responsibilities for test setup, monitoring, and bug triage. And finally, schedule a retro/lessons-learned session after UAT so you can improve next time. A solid example template is in this user acceptance testing plan .
