Access panel for ceiling plumbing – recommendations?

Need an access panel in the hallway ceiling for main water shutoff. It’s a drop ceiling area, but I want something sturdy that won’t sag or look terrible. Any models that install easily and stay put?

Ceiling installs are trickier because gravity works against you. I avoided lightweight plastic ones – they bow over time. Went with a heavier metal panel that has reinforced edges and screw points in all corners; it sits perfectly flat and hasn’t moved at all after a year. The finish takes paint well too, so it blends in. This is the exact one I used last summer:

Chose 16×16 to give plenty of room for hands/tools. Just make sure joists don’t interfere with your cut.
