Do doTERRA essential oils actually work?
I keep seeing doTERRA bottles at friends' places; everyone won't stop raving about their magical properties. At home, I have the standard drugstore kind that cost next to nothing, and they seem to smell fine.
For those who use them regularly: can you explain in simple terms why they cost so much? Is there really a difference, or is it just a hyped-up trend?

A lot depends on the specific oil and its quality, not just the brand name. Compare the composition with a few more affordable options. If the only difference is the price, then for me personally, paying extra would be questionable.
